The Plugin and Theme Audit Most Sites Need
A typical underperforming WordPress site we take on has 25 to 40 active plugins. Several overlap, two are abandoned by their developers, and at least one is loading its scripts on every page while being used on none. Each adds load time, and load time is a ranking factor.
We audit the full stack: which plugins earn their place, which have lighter replacements, and which the theme should be handling natively. Page-builder themes get special attention, because Elementor and Divi sites carry a weight penalty most owners never connect to their rankings. Sometimes configuration fixes it. When it genuinely doesn't, we'll say so, and our WordPress web design team can quote a rebuild.
